2006年東京中野のスケートボードカルチャーを通じて出会ったPONCHIと吉田良晴によって結成。

2010年には初の全国発売となるアルバム「GROW
OUT」をリリース。PONCHI(ギター、MPC)と吉田良晴(フルート、シンセサイザー)、ベーシストのGOSSAN(写真右)から鳴るユニット。FATでグルービーなリズムにシンセサイザーやバッキングギターなどの生演奏をリアルタイムにサンプリングしトラックを構築。その上にフルートや鍵盤、リードギターや声などでメロディーをのせていく。

又、OPSBのサウンドは日本やフランスのスケートボードビデオにも多く使用され、ジャンルや国境を越えた活動で表現の場を広げている。



Ponchi and Yoshi get together and start recording in 2006.
OPSB drops an independent acoustic album "Sketch of Life" in 2007.
Releases a nationwide album "Grow Out" in 2010. Since then, OPSB worksas a five man live instrument band incorporating electro sound.

In 2011, OPSB goes back to their roots and refines its hybrid sound bycombining live instrument sound of Ponchi and Yoshi and Gossan, alsomaking full use of technology.
OPSB's music is used in Skateboardvideos in Japan and France;
the music transcends national boundariesand its relationship with skateboarding is strongly seen.
